TPMS

If the vehicle is fitted with TPMS – Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

After each inflation :
  • Reset.
When replacing a tyre :
  • Reset.
When substituting the pressure sensor :
  • Use a diagnosis equipment and a valve-forcing tool.
When rotating the wheels :
  • Reset.
Rotating the wheels :
  • The car manufacturer strongly advises to rely only on authorized dealerships for this operation.

Method(s) 1 :

Check if tyres pressure is within specs, and adjust it if necessary.

Switch ignition ‘ON’.

Press several times on the button A :
Until the E screen displays :
  • Tyre pressures.
  • The current tyre pressures.
Press the button A for about 3 seconds :
  • The display blinks.
  • A message appears on the display : learning under way.
Then :
  • A message appears on the display : location of the tyres under way.
Drive the vehicle for around 10 minutes ar an minimum speed of 25 kph :
  • The reset is achieved when the light * is switched off.
  • * = location of the tyres under way.
  • The target pressure of the tyres has been registered.

Switch ignition off.

Method(s) 2 :

Check if tyres pressure is within specs, and adjust it if necessary.

Switch ignition ‘ON’.

Touch-screen T :
Select :
  • MENU.
Select :
  • Vehicle.
Select :
  • Tyre pressures.
Select :
  • Reset.
“reset successful” is displayed :
  • The target pressure of the tyres has been registered.

Switch ignition off.

TPMS with sensors

  • Valve A.
  • The seal gasket B ( mark its setting direction ).
  • The cone C of the valve A.
  • The nut D (tightening torque 0,8 daN.m).
  • The pressure sensor E.
Replace the gaskets B :
  • Before the reassembly.
